Teenagers arrested after Crewe man viciously assaulted

Two teenagers have been arrested after a 54 year old man was violently attacked in Crewe on Friday.

Officers attended the scene In Somerville Street where they describe the victim as having suffered a “Puncture wound”.

The unnamed man was taken to Leighton Hospital where his condition is described as stable.

Cheshire Police have confirmed they have arrested two boys aged 16 and 14 in connection with the incident.

In a statement released by the police they said:

The suspects were swiftly arrested and officers remain in the area to provide reassurance. Anyone with any concerns is asked to speak to an officer.

“I would also like to reassure residents that we are determined to establish exactly what has happened and who was responsible.

The two suspects are currently in custody and continue to be questioned by officers.
