Crewe Alex have secured the loan signing of Blackpool centre half Michael Nottingham for the remainder of the season.
The 6’4″ Saint Kitts and Nevis international has been brought in to bolster the defence of The Railwaymen which sees defender, Eddie Nolan, Billy Sass-Davies, Olly Lancashire and Rio Adebisi all currently on the treatment table.
The big defender has worked his way up through the leagues where he has previously worked with former Crewe player Marcus Bignott during his time as a player with non-league outfit Solihull Moors and Ollie Turton the former Crewe defender who moved to Blackpool.
In a series of interviews with the club, Nottingham spoke about how Bignott and Turton influencing his decision to make the loan switch to Crewe.
Nottingham joined the Seasiders after two seasons with Salford City.
The big defender has also chipped in with goals scoring over 30 goals in his career to date.
