Data published by the government this afternoon shows that confirmed cases of COVID-19 are on the increase in some areas of Crewe.
The graph shows the number of confirmed cases for the current 7 day period compared to the preceding 7 days.
The largest increase in confirmed cases has come in the Crewe Sydney and Gateway area where cases have risen by 235%
The next largest increase comes in the Crewe Leighton area where cases have increased by 225%
The following areas have seen confirmed cases of COVID-19 double.

Cases in Nantwich have remained relatively stable.

The Gresty Road area of Crewe has seen no confirmed cases in the current 7 day period compared with 7 cases in the previous period.
The rise in cases comes after residents of Cheshire East were placed under further restrictions this week.
In order to combat the spread of the COVID-19, a new Local Testing Site has been set up in Crewe. Anyone seeking a test for the coronavirus can book in advance and take a test.
